Designed with loose ring which encourages the horse to relax its jaw more whilst it also makes a more mobile bit than an eggbutt or fixed cheek bit.

The single joint puts pressure on the sides of the tongue, on the lips and on the bars due to the nutcracker effect.

Having a hollow mouthpiece makes the bit a lot lighter in construction.
